The Place Located in The Club Singapore along Ann Siang Road, Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s is the boutique hotel’s restaurant at its lobby, serving All Day Breakfast menu which draws inspiration from cuisines around the world based on the owners’ past travel experiences. The setting of the restaurant is chic elegance, making it a rather comfortable ambience to dine in. If you fancy some alfresco dining, there is an outdoor terrace area to bask in the sun, that is if you can take the heat. The Food I was rather overwhelmed by the menu’s offering as it offers more variety than your usual neighbourhood cafes. We started off with some Juices and Smoothies, which was really refreshing. The Lobster Omelette ($16) is too much of an indulgent brunch fare for me, not something I will have usually. Somehow I thought that the lobster meat is better off prepared in other forms rather than having it cooked in an omelette. The Ricotta Hotcakes ($14) prepared from the owner’s house recipe comes with ricotta cheese, fresh berries and truffle honey sauce.
